For Better Returns on Your Pitch Investment, Connect with
Prospects with Three Fundamentals. |
|
 |
|
Joey Asher
President's
Perspective |

a MasterCard ad I’d like to hear.
“Cost
of putting together a detailed response to a complex
Request for Proposals: $30,000.
“Cost
of flying a team to the prospect’s headquarters to

When she sat down,
our coach looked at her and said, “That was great. Now I have one
question for you. Are you willing to be that good all the time?”

Cool Word of the Month: "Nano Nap." |
|
An unintentional,
seconds-long nap that you take when listening to a really boring
presentation. So short that usually nobody but you notices.
I caught
myself taking a nano nap during that meeting this morning. That
presenter clearly had not been to Speechworks.

Public Speaking Tip from Vince Lombardi. |
|
“Practice does not make perfect. Only perfect practice makes perfect.
“
Those are the words
of Vince Lombardi, the great coach of the great Green Bay Packers.
And he could have been talking about how to deliver a great
presentation. Sure practice is important. But you better
practice the right things.
