For those of you
that are sick of PowerPoint, you might consider using the free
presentation software provided by Google as part of the
Google Docs suite. The suite
includes a presentation program comparable to PowerPoint.
The online-magazine
Slate recently staged a
Google v. PowerPoint showdown in
which they compared the two programs. The magazine found that
Google had nice on-line collaboration capabilities but fell far
short of PowerPoint’s graphics capabilities. In the end, the
magazine endorsed neither program, but favored Apple’s visual
software Keynote.
