At Speechworks we believe that people learn best by doing.  Our workshops are designed around the  principle that each person should be  involved in every aspect of learning.

We start each unit by quickly explaining and demonstrating the key ideas of effective communication skills. Then we get our participants to do it themselves. Participants in our workshops are constantly giving presentations, conducting role-plays, and receiving feedback from coaches and peers.  Since there is no substitute for seeing how you look and sound, we do a lot of videotaping followed by constructive feedback. We find this to be the most effective way to teach communication skills.

Our three “open enrollment” programs focus on the most common communication skills challenges, presenting to audiences and speaking in meetings.

Our customized programs are tailored to meet specific client challenges. We tailor our existing communication training programs, based on time and budget constraints.
