Open Enrollment Workshops

All of our programs are offered as open enrollment workshops. The workshops are limited to small groups, and each one utilizes digital video paired with individualized feedback from a professional communication coach.

THE EXECUTIVE SPEAKER – $1,400

This intensive, two-day workshop covers the wide variety of settings in which professionals must be able to communicate effectively. From formal presentations, to interactive meetings, to conference calls and impromptu Q&A, the ability to connect and persuade is crucial to success. Attendees will learn to:

Tools and training are focused on the areas crucial for fantastic presentations. Each step is enhanced with on-camera exercises combined with feedback and individualized coaching.
1. Organize a simple, persuasive message – Focus is placed on limiting messages to a few key points, addressing listener needs, and effectively using stories, analogies, data and other examples to persuade.
2. Deliver in a style that connects – Emphasis is on vocal, physical and facial energy, how to project a professional image, speak with passion, make strong eye contact, and exude a lead.
3. Answer questions to inspire confidence – Techniques for preparing for, embracing and handling Q&A during presentations are provided, with the goal of keeping responses simple rather than getting lost in the weeds.

Training is centered on communicating effectively in less formal business situations. A combination of on-camera exercises, realistic role-play and intensive coaching helps participants to:
1. Effectively communicate during interactive meetings. Coaching includes techniques for addressing listeners’ needs, handling interruptions and answering questions, all while driving an agenda.
2. Maintain an executive presence. Great communicators have a style that builds confidence and persuades listeners. Coaching focuses on improving visual and vocal presence through eye contact, facial and vocal energy.
3. Answer questions in a way that inspires confidence. Simple techniques for preparing for, embracing and handling questions during meetings are provided.

THE PERSUASIVE SPEAKER – $800

This one-day workshop focuses on the fundamentals of creating and delivering simple, persuasive business presentations. Participants gain skills to help them pitch to a potential client, provide a project update, get buy-in from stakeholders, or speak at an industry event. Attendees receive highly individualized coaching to teach them how to:

Participants learn how to use the Speechworks Formula to create simple, persuasive, listener-centered messages. Emphasis is placed on limiting messages to a few key points, focusing on listener needs, and effectively using stories, analogies, data and other examples to persuade. With the guidance of a coach, participants create and deliver business presentations on-camera and receive feedback.
Through a combination of video recording and one-on-one coaching, participants identify and develop a personal style that will enable them to connect with an audience and build relationships. With an emphasis on eye contact and vocal, physical and facial energy, they learn how to project a professional image.

The best communicators handle questions in a way that inspires confidence. Simple techniques for preparing for, embracing and handling Q&A are taught. On-camera Q&A role-playing is combined with feedback to solidify the learning.

THE IMPROMPTU SPEAKER – $800

One of the most important business skills is the ability to meet with colleagues and senior executives and make them believe you.  The Impromptu Speaker focuses on how to communicate in meetings and sell ideas.

Unlike our Persuasive Speaker class, this session focuses on informal settings where you want to command the room and inspire confidence.  We also focus on how to speak effectively when you’re completely unprepared.
