The Persuasive Speaker Workshop
Learn the skills to deliver concise and engaging communication.
The Persuasive Speaker Workshop focuses on the fundamentals of creating and delivering simple, yet engaging, business communication. This program best supports team members facing increased responsibilities in their job function. Often, they are beginning to manage teams and provide project updates to management. Through group discussion, on-camera exercises, and real-time feedback from our coaches, participants gain confidence in their individual communication style that will lead to clarity, performance, and ultimately better results for the organization.
Workshop Format Overview
Pre-Workshop
Participants will start with a 20-minute skills-based instructional video. This will teach a simple process we call the Speechworks Formula to create concise and engaging content. Participants will send the content they have created to Speechworks coaches who will be teaching their workshop.
Morning Session
Speechworks coaches review each participant’s content and help reinforce the proper application of the Speechworks Formula. They will ensure the key aspects of creating messaging that is listener-sensitive and concise are demonstrated.
Afternoon Session
Speechworks coaches facilitate a conversation around delivery style and Q&A. We teach techniques to use nonverbal communication and our approach to embracing Q&A as a tool to build credibility and inspire confidence. Participants will see how modifications unique to them will help them engage and communicate more effectively with others.

- Open Enrollment for individual participants in Atlanta
- Team Workshops tailored to your specific needs for groups of 10, 15, or 20+. Delivered in-person at Speechworks development facility in Atlanta, or at a location of your choosing.

1-day in-person workshop: From 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM EST.
