Persuasive Speaking for the Female Executive
Communication and executive presence to help women grow their career opportunities.
This intensive 2-day workshop is taught only by Speechworks women coaches and serves as a safe forum to discuss communication issues often faced by women. Limited to 8 participants, this program provides a more intimate setting to explore and understand how participants are currently perceived by others. Participants learn to communicate with greater confidence with a variety of people, including their teams, peers, and senior leadership, by bringing more of who they are to their communication style.
Workshop Format Overview
Pre-Workshop
Participants complete a short survey to provide insight into communication challenges in their role. They will also identify a high-consequence communication situation they are facing and apply our Speechworks Formula for creating concise and engaging content that they learn in a 20-minute skills-based instructional video. Participants send the survey and the content they have created to Speechworks coaches for their review prior to the beginning of their workshop.
Day One
Speechworks coaches facilitate a discussion around the types of challenges women often face in adopting a communication style. This session also reinforces the Speechworks Formula and ensures each participant is applying it effectively. The finalized messaging will be used throughout the balance of the workshop. Coaches review non-verbal communication techniques of effective women leaders. Participants engage in multiple recordings and coaching sessions dedicated to enhancing engagement techniques and modifying individual behaviors that may hinder or undermine their authority and presence.
Day Two
Continue practicing the engagement skills learned on Day One by applying them to handling Q&A. The final afternoon session revolves around applying what participants have learned about themselves to high-consequence scenarios that are common to their position. Things like delivering a project update to senior management, requesting budget approval for a key initiative, or providing a business review with a client. Participants will review their individual goals with their coach and discuss ways to practice their new skills within a confident executive presence.

- Open Enrollment for individual participants in Atlanta
- Team Workshops tailored to your specific needs for groups of 10, 15, or 20+. Delivered in-person at Speechworks development facility in Atlanta, or at a location of your choosing. 
Time Commitment
2-day in-person workshop: From 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM EST each day.
Follow-Up Support
The Executive Speaker Workshop for Women includes one, 1-hour private coaching session to be used within 6 months of the original workshop date. One-on-one coaching is a great way to help participants master the skills learned and provides them with support and encouragement for high-consequence communications they are facing. These 1-hour sessions are scheduled as needed based on coach availability. Additional 1-hour private coaching sessions are available for a fee.
